Born in Pontevedra, Spain. Josefina develops an interest in the arts from a very young age. Course studies in Spain of Russian iconography, embossing techniques, pyrography, application of gold leaf, craquelure and paint among others. In 1969 she moved to San Juan, Puerto Rico where she settled.
